This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use the BAĞBAN: Harvest Run game offered on bagban.net (the "Site"). The Site is operated by an independent project run under the pen name gndzlp. Contact: [email protected].

1. Core approach

BAĞBAN is built with a privacy-conscious design. The game runs largely on your device (client-side); you do not need to create an account or provide personal information in order to play.

2. Data processed

a) Data stored on your device (localStorage)

Your game progress, your settings (sound, language, accessibility), your statistics and the nickname you choose are kept in your browser's local storage. This data is not automatically sent to our servers and remains only on your device. When you clear your browser data, this information is deleted.

b) Leaderboard (score submission)

When you successfully complete a run, the nickname you set in Settings, the score you achieved, and the region you played are automatically sent to a Cloudflare Worker service (the global leaderboard infrastructure) — this is a core part of the game's competitive leaderboard feature and does not prompt a separate consent request at submission time. You can change or clear your nickname at any time from the Settings screen (if left blank, it appears as "—" on the leaderboard). Please do not use a real first/last name that reveals your identity as your nickname. Your device also separately keeps a local score history that is never sent to the server.

c) Prayer times

For the prayer-time feature in the game, prayer-time information may be obtained from the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Turkey (Diyanet) (vakit.diyanet.gov.tr) service. These requests are subject to the privacy practices of that third party.

d) Hosting and server logs

The Site is hosted on the Cloudflare Pages infrastructure. For security and service continuity, the hosting provider may keep technical information such as IP addresses in standard access logs; Cloudflare's own infrastructure analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) may also produce cookieless, non-individually-targeted aggregate traffic statistics.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The Site uses two measurement/advertising tools, both operating under Google Consent Mode v2: on first page load, both are set to DENIED by default; they only activate once you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline," or continue using the Site without making a choice on the banner, these tools do not collect data.

The game aims to offer content suitable for all ages and does not request personal data in order to play. When advertising is enabled, the necessary measures are taken to comply with policies on content directed at children.
