BAĞBAN: Harvest Run is a free, browser-based farming roguelite shaped by Islamic values. Across 22 regions of the Islamic world, stretching from Anatolia to al-Andalus and from the Maghreb to Indonesia, you sow crops, water them and harvest them; on every run you build your strategy by choosing new "barakah cards."

Why this game?

Strategy and the "roguelite" genre are widely loved in the gaming world; yet titles that put concepts like lawful earnings, zakat, infaq and barakah at their center, and that the whole family can play with peace of mind, are rare. BAĞBAN was designed to fill this gap: within a fun gameplay loop, it aims to convey the blessing found in working and sharing.

Our principles

• No gambling: There are no mechanics involving money won by chance (maysir).
• No interest: The economy rewards those who give in charity, not those who hoard.
• Ihtikar (profiteering) is penalized: Hoarding staple food during a shortage leads to negative outcomes in the game.
• Privacy-friendly: No account is required; the game runs largely on your own device.

Technically

BAĞBAN is a PWA (Progressive Web App): after the first launch it can be played offline and added to your phone's home screen like an app. It can also be downloaded as an APK for Android. Your game progress is kept in your device's local storage (localStorage), not on a server.
