Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

This notice has been prepared in accordance with Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") to inform you about how your personal data is processed in connection with BAĞBAN: Harvest Run, offered at bagban.net.

1. Data controller

The data controller is the site operator, acting under the pen name gndzlp. Contact: [email protected]

2. Personal data processed

BAĞBAN does not require an account or identity information in order to play. The limited data that may be processed is as follows:

• Nickname and score: Processed when you voluntarily submit a score to the leaderboard.
• Preferences stored on your device: Game progress and settings are kept in your browser's local storage; they are not transmitted to a server.
• Technical connection data: Data such as your IP address may be retained for security purposes by the hosting provider (Cloudflare).
• Cookie data: Advertising/analytics cookies, where you give explicit consent (see the Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes of processing

• Operating the game and the leaderboard
• Ensuring the security of the Service and preventing abuse
• Displaying ads and measuring performance, where consent is given
• Fulfilling legal obligations

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the legal grounds that processing is necessary for the performance of a service, the legitimate interest of the data controller, and, where required, your explicit consent (in particular for advertising/analytics cookies).

5. Transfers

For the purpose of providing the Service, data may be shared with service providers whose servers may be located abroad (Cloudflare, Google, GitHub). Requests made to the Diyanet prayer-times service are subject to the practices of the relevant institution. Transfers are carried out within the conditions prescribed by the KVKK.

6. Retention period

Data stored on your device remains in your browser until you delete it. Leaderboard records are kept for as long as the Service is provided or until they are deleted upon your request.

7. Rights of the data subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about it, to request its rectification or erasure, to object to its processing, and to claim compensation for any damage incurred. In general data-protection terms, these correspond to your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection. You may submit your requests to [email protected]; your application will be concluded as soon as possible and within the periods set out in the relevant legislation.
